Ranbir Kapoor gives solar lights:Ranbir Kapoor has donated solar lamps to the village of Purani Bazar, in the Indian state of Bihar.The fourth-generation actor is reported to have been approached by a news channel to tie up with the campaign, Mid Day reports.A source for the tabloid said: "The villagers in Purani Bazar are grateful to RK as he sponsored solar lamps for their developing village.

Solar power is an economical energy option for villages to use."It is claimed that the Wake Up Sid star prefers not speak out about his environmental charitable work.
"While Ranbir is not very vocal about energy conservation, he believes in quietly doing his bit to prevent global warming," added the source.Kapoor made the donation as part of the Greenathon 2010 organised by NDTV.
