Ranbir Kapoor to try the lead in South Indian motion picture revamp ‘Magadheera’:Ranbir Kapoor is doing a variety of films and the days of the young actor looks really bright. A new trend is approaching Bollywood that many South Indian films are remade in Bollywood and the latest on the news is that Ranbir Kapoor would be a part of the next south Indian film remake. The south Indian film in question is Magadheera which was a huge hit in 2009.
The rumors are flying that the Casanova of Bollywood has been approached for the project, however no news on the confirmation has been said yet. The south Indian film was a huge hit and the film had Ram Charan as the lead and was directed by SS Rajamouli. The Hindi version would also be directed by the same person. The film makers are really happy to sign in Ranbir in the film but no such signs are evident on the face of the upcoming actor.
However there is a different story with the producer as the producer wanted an older actor Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan and shahid Kapoor but since nothing of the sorts happened so he had to be happy with Ranbir Kapoor. As Ranbir is associated with the producers brand management company he was a natural choice after the first few.
While the leading lady in the south Indian hit was Kajal Agarwal but in the Hindi remade Ranbir is to be paired with his ‘good friend’ Katrina Kaif. The film has a very interesting storyline of reincarnation. There is a lot of time travel as the lead took birth in the Mughal period and he falls in love with a princess but die eventually to take birth after 400 years back into the present time. The story line is different lets see whether Ranbir is able to cast his magic with this film.
